Artist's CommentsAnother SD sized scarf for Ball Joint Dolls. This is possibly one of my favourite colours of wool. It's a deep, dark rusty red with hints of gold in the light. The title of this piece was inspired by the colour reminding me of old, dead blood. One of my favourite things to do in knitting is work with textured patterns and this scarf features a scale checkerboard. My model this time is Avelin who belongs to ~lascabre. ~ Hand knit and designed by myself. Made with 100% Peruvian fingering weight wool. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.
